Established in 1979 as a result of a joint venture between two major groups in the Middle East: The Omar Kassem Alesayi group and HSA - The Hayel Saeed Anam group of companies (Frimex Investment).

Established as a food division company with an unwavering vision to become the leading food distribution company in Saudi Arabia, and one of the largest in the Middle East.

Over the 45 years, OKAM became one of the major importers and distributors of branded and quality products in several food categories, with aggressive plans for further expansion and diversifying the current portfolio.
